Meridian is a workspace for solo consultants, built and run by Howard Grahame. This policy explains, in plain English, what data we hold and what we do with it.
We collect the information you give us: your name and email address, your subscription status, and the work data you enter into the app — your clients, contacts, projects, tasks, time entries, activity notes, and follow-ups.
We use your data only to provide the service: to show you your workspace, to calculate your reports, to bill you through Stripe, and to send the emails you've asked for (password resets, account notifications).
If you ask for our free guide, we store your email address on our own servers so we can send it to you and, with your consent, the occasional update about Meridian. We use double opt-in — you confirm your address before we send anything — we never sell your email, and every message has a one-click unsubscribe. Ask us to erase your address any time and we will.
Your data lives in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
Your data belongs to you. Under UK GDPR you have the right to a copy of your data and the right to have it deleted — both are self-serve, no email required.
Download a complete copy of everything in your account at any time from Settings → Your data. The export is a ZIP of CSV files covering clients, contacts, projects, tasks, time entries, invoices, expenses and goals — readable in any spreadsheet app.
Delete your account from Settings → Your data. Deletion takes effect 30 days after you request it, during which you can cancel with one click. After 30 days all workspace data is permanently removed and your subscription is cancelled. This cannot be reversed.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Invoice records may be retained for up to six years after deletion where UK tax law requires, held in anonymised form with no personally identifying information.
Meridian uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. That's it — no tracking cookies, no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels.
